Box tops for Education
We all shop for groceries, sometimes two or three times a week — or more. Now turn those shopping trip into easy cash for your school, and encourage friends to do the same! Just look for the Box Tops logo on hundreds of products like Cheerios®, Hamburger Helper® and Kleenex®, in almost every aisle of the store. All you need to do is clip and send them to your school’s Box Tops coordinator — each one is worth 10¢ for your school. Send your box tops into school!

Frequently Asked Questions about the Kroger Cares Program
How does the Kroger Cares Program work?
1. Purchase a specially coded gift card from the PTO (not available at Kroger) at face value ($5).
2. Add value to cards at the Kroger Service Desk (cash, credit, or check) The WWES PTO will receive 3% of your charged value at this time.
3. Shop at ANY Kroger (including gas!).
4. Pay with your WWES PTO Kroger Cares Gift card.
Who can participate?
Anyone who is willing to support the WWES PTO can use one of these gift cards. Please feel free to get one for relatives, neighbors, and friends.
Am I also required to have a Kroger Plus Card?
No, you are not required to have a Kroger Plus card to participate in this program. The Kroger Plus card can still be used for savings on products and discounts on gas.
Can I earn gas discounts by spending money to reload my card?
You will continue to earn gas discounts when you make purchases using your gift card.
Will I continue to receive Kroger coupons in the mail?
This program should not change any bonus programs that you currently enjoy at Kroger.
Can I use my gift card to buy anything at Kroger?
Your gift card can be used for any items that Kroger sells, including gasoline or items from the pharmacy.
How will I know what the balance is on my gift card?
Each time you use your gift card, you will receive a receipt listing the remaining balance on the card. If you know your card number (printed on the back of the card) you can call the 800 number (also on the back of the card) to inquire about your balance.
What do I do when the balance is low? Do I have to buy another card?
No, don’t throw away your gift card! Simply reload the card at the register. Once you buy the initial card from WWES PTO the card can be used and reused.
Is there a minimum balance that I have to maintain on the gift card?
Always keep at least $.01 on your gift card. When the balance drops to zero and the card is not reloaded for 90 days, the card will be deactivated, and you will have to buy a new card from the WWES PTO to continue participation in the program.
What happens if my card is lost or stolen?
Your Kroger gift card functions like cash. If it is lost or stolen, anyone can use it. For this reason, the PTO keeps a record of your card number. If you lose your card, contact the PTO, and we will give you your card number. You can then call the 800 number, and if there is still a balance on the card, Kroger will issue you a new card tied to your account.
How do I buy more gift cards tied to the WWES PTO?
